Society of Economic Journalists- Nepal (SEJON) has played a crucial role on the professional development of the economic journalism in Nepal. We have been developing and organizing various world-class training programs and policy discussion programs. The role of media in political movement has been considered a crucial part. Similarly, for the role of medias is very high in economic development. SEJON has been contribution to the economic journalism fraternity through the capacity development, policy discussions on pertinent issues, research projects, publications and many more. Not only has it notified the policy makers on the relevant issues, it has also disseminated knowledge to general public about the economic condition and situation.
The Society of Economic Journalists-Nepal (SEJON) is an umbrella organization of the professional journalists working to disseminate facts and figures in the economic, business and financial sectors of Nepal. Established as a non-profit organization in 1998, SEJON currently incorporates 279 economic journalists, working in almost all forms of media, under its umbrella.
Organizing, assisting and coordinating different seminars, workshops, and training and event management programs in association with various national and international organizations.
