
It is my great honor to serve as the President of the Society of Economic Journalists – Nepal (SEJON). At SEJON, we believe that the strength of our organization lies in the capability and professionalism of our members. Therefore, we remain dedicated to continuous capacity building and quality enhancement.
To strengthen the capacity of our members, we will introduce specialized training programs and put the concept of think tanks into practice. We will contribute to the national economy through fact-based and data-driven journalism.
Our focus will not only be on professional growth but also on ensuring that our members contribute meaningfully to a vibrant and resilient economy.
In this journey, collaboration will be key. SEJON will actively pursue broader partnerships and cooperation with stakeholders from different sectors. Through these joint efforts, we aim to amplify our collective impact and support the nation’s progress toward a more dynamic and sustainable economy.
Together, with commitment and shared purpose, we will continue to strengthen SEJON as a professional community.
The Society of Economic Journalists-Nepal (SEJON) is an umbrella organization of the professional journalists working to disseminate facts and figures in the economic, business and financial sectors of Nepal. Established as a non-profit organization in 1998, SEJON currently incorporates 279 economic journalists, working in almost all forms of media, under its umbrella.
Organizing, assisting and coordinating different seminars, workshops, and training and event management programs in association with various national and international organizations.
